Auto Crash: A lifeless Okada commuter at Nkwo-Emeke market was rushed to hospital with spills of on his body.

 

A dangerous auto crash occurred at Nkwo-Emeke market arena, yesterday on the 22nd of December 2020, at exactly 9.00 pm, as multitude of people, were seen in that incident area, some were standing across the road discussing about what happened and while some were trying to assist, as a breathless body of an Okada rider was on the ground with blood stains all over his body, before he was finally rushed to Holy Rosary hospital Emekuku, with a bus Imo vehicle, because of his terrible condition.  

So many people speculated that he must have been knocked down by a hit and run away drivers, but the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from our correspondent in Emekuku, who was there that night said that the Okada commuter was carrying a passenger to Emii, while trying to move with a very high speed on the express road, he could not control the motorcycle again, possibly he is drunk or still must have not learnt the operation of the motorcycle very well. 

But our correspondent in details said the passenger sustained alot of injuries as he was given a first aid treatment at a pharmacy shop in Nkwo-Emeke , while the okada rider was rushed to hospital as their identities were not disclosed.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
