Sports: Breath of new air and excitement in anticipation of Ubowalla unity cup 2020 kick-off

 


It is now a shout of huarry, like a relief of bondage as the anticipated Ubowalla unity cup kick off on the 12TH of December 2020, in the spirit of sportsmanship ànd excitement of tactical team work. 

The opening ceremony will commence by 3pm and the first match will start by 4pm, it is between group E vs A. 

Thanks to the donor and sponsor of the competition for the grassroot talent hunt and sports is life.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
