Politics: Professor Mahmood Yakubu, take oath of office and conferred second term in office as INEC chairman

 

Professor Mahmood Yakubu have been reappointed, as the chairman of Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for another five years term in office . 

He was sworn in by president Muhammadu Buhari, during the federal executive council meeting.

Mahmood Yakubu is the only person, that have meritoriously served twice as the electoral chairman in Nigeria and he studied political history & international studies, as he promise to work judiciously for the smooth conduct of elections.
