Politics: Damien Tarel sentenced to jail, for slapping French president Emmanuel Marcon

 

A court in the city of Valence in France, have prosecuted, Damien Tarel, who is 28 years old, and a  Medieval history enthusiast. have received 18 months jail term, for a violent assault, on the French president

Emmanuel Marcon  with a slap on his face, at a public gathering at a village in Tain-Hermitage, which the prosecutor Alex Perrin speaking in court, said the action of Tarel is unaccepted and it is a deliberate act  and under French law, Tarel is expected to spend not less than two years in the prison bars. 



But he has regretted all his actions and especially the yellow vest anti-government movement protest, which he planned through eggs, pie and ice cream on the head of the french president  Emmanuel Marcon. 

 

Marcon have shrugged off Tarel's act describing it, as an isolated event and have promise to meet all voters, despite his personal security concern, as all leaders and politicians in France have totally condemned his actions, which is not accepted by law. 

Damien Tarel is unemployed and earning benefits from her disabled financee

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
