Politics : Hoodlums attacked the residence of Imo state commissioner of information
Imo state commissioner of information honorable Declan Emelumba's residential building at Ubulu Ihejiofor community in Oru West local government area, have been set ablaze by hoodlums.
According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, the incident occurred between 1.00 am, on Sunday morning on the 6TH of June 2021, and further details from that report, revealed that the interim committee chairman of Oru West local government area, Wile Okoliogwo residence was also attacked, on that same day and the local government parked ambulance in his compound was taking away by the miscreants.
Declan Emelumba was contacted to confirm the trending news, about his residence been set ablaze, at his home town in Ubulu Ihejiofor community in Oru West local government area, which he said that the miscreants razed down part of his building, with his fellow kins man, Wile Okoliogwo,who is the interim committee chairman of Oru West local government and took away the parked local government ambulance in his compound for their operation, which was one of the stolen items, recovered by the police during the repelled counter attack, with the bandits,at the police head quarter and concluded by saying that no causalities were recorded in the incident.
But the Nigerian police force in Imo state command, is yet to issue a statement, as regards to the report, as some of the items listed, that was recovered from the bandits, that was shot dead, was a hummer bus and four AK-47 refiles, according to the police public relation officer, Bala Elkana
