Politics: IEDI charge IPOB/ESN to cease fire in the South -East states

 

Imo state economic development initiative( IEDI) chairman Maurice Iwu and the secretary to Imo state government, with other stake holders of the organization, including the deputy governor of Imo state Placid Njoku, have charged the indigenous people of Biafra( IPOB) and it's military branch, known as the eastern security network(ESN) to embrace peace, rather than cause mayhem in Imo state and other eastern states. 

Because destruction of government facilities and other political appointee's residential properties, is not the best, he disclosed that so many people, have lost their lives and business operations in Imo state, have really crumbled. 

Iwu said Imo state is not know for violence, so using Imo state, as a testing ground,is not  accepted, but if you do it in other states, we will totally support and appealed. 

Chief Jerry Chukwueke, who is the former vice presidential candidate under the plat form of All progressive grande alliance (APGA) and he is a native of Awaka community, in Owerri-north local government area in Imo state, appealed with the federal government of Nigeria, led by his excellency president Muhammadu Buhari, to dialogue with the IPOB members, so that peace could co-exist in the region and the eastern states of Nigeria, because the region,have totally been neglected, in the area of infrastructural development, employment and political appointment, which have made the youths to embrace ammunition and request for the secession of Nigeria, into different republics, if referendum could be granted and went further to say, that he believe in one Nigeria, he concludes and the information is been gathered by the Drizzlersnews crew, during an interview granted to them on Arise television. 

But a the presence of the joint military task force have take over the situation and some arrest have been made over the recent violence, that occurred in Imo state, although the IEDI members, held a joint security summit, which will be transcended, to various communities and the disclosure of the meeting, was not made known.
