Politics : There is no iota of truth, about my resignation, as deputy governor of Imo state- Placid Njoku

 

Imo state deputy governor Placid Njoku have asked the public to disclaim, any purported notice, trending on social media, about his resignation, as the deputy governor of the state. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from the chief press secretary to Placid Njoku who said " The deputy governor have good cordial working relationship with the governor, his excellency sen.Hope Uzodinma, in his shared prosperity government, which have been seen in his various executed projects in the 27 local government areas in Imo state and most of these fake news published, without being properly verified, are sponsored by political dis-tractors and appealed to them to change from such negative actions, because Imo belongs to everybody and we need to make it a great place for our future leaders".

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
