Politics: Hon.Maxwell Nlemadim receive an award of honor from CYON

 

Former Imo state special adviser on security & enforcement, honorable Ugwumba Maxwell Nlemadim, was given an award of friends of the youths, by the archdiocese of Owerri catholic youth organization (CYON), for his great services to humanity and leadership in the state. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, the award, was given to him on the 14TH of June 2021, at Obiri Odenigbo and from all judgement, it was given to him on merit, because with hard work and dedication to God, the sky is not a limit, but a starting point to the future.  

Maxwell went further to advise the youths in the state, to be law abiding citizens, because they are the visionary future leaders and appealed to them not be used to crisis in the state, rather they should retrieve for an acquisition of entrepreneurship skills and focus more on their academics, because the time of blood money, kidnapping and fraud is over.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
