Business: Association of onion producers and marketers threatened to stop the supply of onion in Nigeria

 

The president association of onion producers and marketers in Nigeria, Aliyu Isa Umar, have issued a three days ultimatum to federal government, to work out strategies to compensate it's members, that face lost of products, due to the End Sars protest and Shasha riot  or the country onion product supply will be cut off in the market. 

According to the report, received by the Drizzlersnews, Mr.Umar said the members of the association are very angry that the government have mandated some people to take care of the compensation payment, through the Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello, but yet nobody is seeing the funds and threatened that the body will use it's joint partners amalgamated union of cattle sellers to stop the supply of the product from Monday 7TH of June -11TH of June 2021, if the president of Nigeria Muhammadu did not respond to their plights.
