NPF: ESN native doctor in the custody of Imo state police command-Bala Elkana

 

 Imo state police command have arrested and paraded the Eastern security network native doctor 
Mr.Uzomaka Ugo anyanwu.

According to the police public relations officer Bala Elkana, who said that Ugo anyanwu have been accused,as the native doctor, who prepares charms for the proscribed terrorist group, known as the Eastern security network, that are causing mayhem in the state. 

From the press report, made by PPRO Bala, on the 8TH of June 2021, he said a tactical team of the Imo state police command, through a diligent and thorough investigations carried out, police stormed Ukwu-Orji, in Mbaitoli local government area in Imo state, along Onitsha road, and arrested a 65 years old man, identified as Eze Ugo Ordu, who is a native of Ubachima Omuma, in Oru-West local government area. 

Eze Ugo confessed during interrogation, of being a member of IPOB / ESN and in full confidence, he told the police that his group was responsible, for all the recent attacks, carried out at the police headquarters, correctional service centre (prison) as well the resident of Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma and took the police security operatives to the ESN camp, situated in a thick forest, around the Njiaba river and nine of their members, were arrested at there hideout. 

He went further in details by informing the police, that out of the nine members arrested Mr.Chinedu Nwakaire, who is also known as one door, who is 48 years old and the native doctor were part of the syndicates, who attacked the residence of Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma and concluded by saying that various sort of charms were recovered from them.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
