Politics: President Muhammadu Buhari arrive Nigeria

 



President Muhammadu Buhari, who embarked on a two weeks trip to United Kingdom, for the global partnership education summit and medical checkup, but arrived Nigeria at exactly 06.15 pm, through the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikwe international airport. 

According to the report received, by the Drizzlersnews correspondent,who revealed that president muhammadu Buhari, held meeting with the UK prime minister Boris Johnson, after the summit and the PM,promise to assist in the fight, against terrorism and made a donation of $125 million dollars to Nigeria, for the support of education sector, as Nigeria's education budget,is expected to increase by 50%.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
