Ubowalla community, expect new tarred roads

 

There is cheers of joy and new breath of fresh air,in Ubowalla community,in Owerri north local government area in Imo state, as three kindred's have been enlisted by a philanthropist and son of the soil (name withheld) for the construction of a new linked roads as part of his retirement benefit and rather than put it in his pocket, he  said it should be for community development.  They roads are umuololo, Ihitte-Ubo, umueze kindred and finally stop at Ubowalla primary school by Eke-ama market square. 

According to the report received the Drizzlersnews, inspection of the these linking roads, have commenced by civil engineers, but the commencement flag off of the road project, was not disclosed and the name of the philanthropist was kept hidden for security reasons.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
