Security: Joint military task force shot sporadically in Owerri

 



A military task force responses team, in a white Hilux van convoy, with an armored tanker, on a top high speed shot sporadically at ware fare house junction by Ama JK, towards the government house round about in Owerri, while they were heading to Okigwe road by Orji axis at exactly 06.30 pm yesterday, it was not ascertained if there is any choas.  

But the whole scenario took place, after the peaceful procession and prayer summit organized by youth leaders APC and transition local government chairmen at the international convention center (IICC) and the whole environment of Owerri capital city was calm, to counter the sit at home order issued  by IPOB member and eulogize the great project executed by the Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
