Imo state youths conduct prayer summit

 




Imo state youths despite the sit at home order, organized their first maiden edition monthly prayer summit and peaceful procession at the Imo international convention center, located opposite the warehouse junction in Owerri, to commiserate the good governance and shared prosperity government, of his excellency distinguish senator Hope Uzodinma, as the pledge their total loyalty support, to the Imo state governor. 

Then thank him for empowering fifteen thousand youths, with the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand Naira, as they use the opportunity to appeal to him, that he should create more employment opportunities and made it clear that Imo state is a peaceful coherence habitat, because there is no chance for criminals.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
