St.Peter catholic parish Ubowalla,commence 2021 August meeting

 

St.Peter catholic women organization Ubowalla parish, have began their annual August 2021 meeting, inside the church premises, as the meeting which is expected to last for three days. 

It officially started on Wednesday 18TH - 21st of August, which is the grand finale of the August meeting, as part of the activities expected during the event, are lectures, fund raising and given of awards. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent, who said that the first day, the women are colourfully dressed in their various kindred uniforms.

Nkotonko music drama actors Omalicha and Akuebe in movie audition

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
