President Buhari assent 2018 budget

President Muhammadu Buhari in the presence of vice president professor Yemi Osinbajo and other federal executive members signed the 2018 appropriation bill of 
# 9.12 Trillion Naira at the presidential villa Abuja and criticized the National Assembly for cutting down some  federal allocation projects without due consultation of the executives which was submitted to them for consideration rather cried out against the National Assembly for the introduction of 6,403 federal projects in their own authority which have not been designed and increased the budget sum from the #347 billion to #578 billion Naira promise to work with them to improve the budget system in restoring Nigeria in the January - December fiscal cycle as less than 10% of the budget represent yearly aggregate expenditure in our economy.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
