Nze Joseph Agor declared winner of APC Owerri municipal local government council chairman primary election

The former Owerri municipal local government transition chairman Nze Joseph Agor have emerged victorious defeating his political opponents honorable Nzeh Patrick Chidiebere and Alex Ojiris in the All progressive Congress local government chairmanship primary election held today at the various wards in Owerri Municipal local government area.  

It was counted inside the oha owerri collation hall centre by Imo state electoral commission officers and he was declared the winner prepared to face other political parties contesting for the local government seat by 14th of July 2018.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
