Operation save haven arrested 17 suspected herdsmen in Plateau state

Major Umar Adams spokes person for special joint task force operation save haven, have linked three arrested persons from Gashish district paraded in Jos along with other fourteen suspects from the Fulani herdsmen and Berom minority ethnic group in connection with over two hundred massacred farmers of Barkin local government area in Plateau state on the 24th of June 2018.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
