Late Mr.Simeon Chukwuemeka Nwoke testimonial soccer match between ubowalla senior and junior team ended in 2-1 score line in favour of the junior team.


 He was buried on the 1st of June 2018 at the age of 74 years old and known for his great philanthropic contribution in ubowalla community especially towards youth development served in the Imo state Judiciary commission.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
