Imo state bloggers hangout

The Imo state bloggers association (ISBA) held it's first bloggers hangout on the 31st of May 2018 at E-world located at No 5 Oduobi crescent Ikenegbu layout in Owerri municipal local Government area in Imo state and it started exactly 11.00 AM. 

Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who is the president of ISBA declared the program open with the key note address  said the theme of the program is SEEING BEYOND NEWS MEDIA TRENDS & STRATEGIES and it is a gathering is to update bloggers new systematic trends in social media as well proffer solutions to take the profession to the next level. 

In 2003 it is difficult to find bloggers in Imo state today their are alot of them so encouraged new intending members to join the association.  

 The three resource persons who spoke during the Imo state blogger hangout are Hon.Prince Odunze SA to the Imo state governor on media production,delivered lecture on information packaging.

While Kingsely Chukwuemeka ceo sweetnaijamusic.com delivered lecture on SEO search engine optimization and Ikechukwu Nwachukwu ceo OtownMP3.com delivered lecture on online radio.

Nkotonko music drama actors Omalicha and Akuebe in movie audition

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked. But if their is any only those in it knew the secret and history as indigenous members of that community so many of them were scared to unfold the history and mystery of Owu cultural festival as a non indigenous member of that community i was not allowed to go into their mix for an interview and anything you have to appreciate them you drop it on the floor but it is believed according to christian doctrine that it is an Idol wors
