Mac Donald Ebere the all progressive congress APC  Owerri municipal constituency house of assembly candidate during his campaign with Umuodu women at umu-Ihugba town hall in Owerri n'ichi-ise autonomous community described action alliance party of Nigeria AA in Igbo language as alaawa aghara and ascertained that the Governorship candidate under action alliance party of Nigeria and former chief of staff Imo state honorable Uche Nwosu cannot win the Governorship election in Imo state no matter what the Governor of Imo state Owelle Rochas Okorocha does he will lose out and asked Owelle's family as well son in-law to prepare to leave the Imo state douglas house to their home town ogboko in Ideato local government area of Imo state under Orlu Zone.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
