Imo PDP Governorship candidate Emeka Ihedioha endorsed by ex-super Eagles players






During the official flag off of Imo state peoples democratic party governorship candidate Rt.Honorable Emeka Ihedioha's campaign at saint Mary's Catholic church Ubomiri in Mbaitoli Local Government area of Imo state. 

Some ex- international players of super eagles joined to make the event memorable they include Henry Nwosu, Mobi Oparaku, Ifeanyi Udeze, Peter Rufai, Uche Okechukwu and encouraged ihedioha to reinvigorate the sports development in our school curriculum as well provision of good sports facilities in Imo state which helps in the physical and mental build up of the child. Imo state have produced the best athletes in Nigeria

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
