APGA chapter executives commence ward sensitization rally in Emekuku ward 2



All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Emekuku chapter chairman Mr.Cletus Ibe and his executives have commenced ward sensitization and re-visitation rally tour in Owerri north local government area of Imo state of which the tour panel will visit all the wards in Owerri north local government area in Imo state.  

But the chapter APGA chairman in Emekuku Mr.Cletus Ibe and his executives were received by Emekuku ward 2 chairman Mr.Chidindu Onyeneke at Ubowalla primary school in Owerri north local Government area of Imo state. According to the Emekuku ward 2 chairman it is going to be a six days program which started on the 19th of January 2019 and all the wards in Emekuku will be visited before the local government tour so and thanked the chapter chairman for his visit and assured him that all the wards in Emekuku will deliver 100% in the 2019 general election.


The chapter chairman Mr.Cletus Ibe  said the purpose of the visit is to encourage APGA members and remind them that campaign have officially been flagged off at Dan Anyiam stadium so they should work on a door 2 door campaign and many who do not have their permanent voters card should endeavor to get it through there registered designated centers because without it you have no right to vote then they should ensure that the vote APGA Major General John Agbor is the APGA presidential candidate,Governor senator Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume, senate Mike Nwachukwu, federal house of representative Achugbo, Imo state house of assembly Kelechi Soribe and said APGA is taking over Imo state Douglas house come 29th May 2019.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
