New Generation Party adopt Imo PDP Governorship candidate Rt.Hon. Emeka Ihedioha

The new generation party is one of the latest parties registered and approved by Independent electoral commission (INEC) in 2018 to contest the 2019 general election, but according to the report received from one of it's national executives Yakubu Shanaga who was present during the flag off campaign of peoples democratic party Imo state Governorship candidate Rt.Honorable Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy Governor Gerald Irona at saint Mary's catholic church Mbaitoli Local Government area of Imo state.

Yakubu shanaga announce the adoption of Imo state PDP Governorship candidate Rt.Emeka Ihedioha whom he has known for a long time and encouraged Imolites to give him the maximum support and Imo state would be much better.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
