SDP flag off first class governance and reformaton of Imo economy - Okey Ezeh



The social democratic party (SDP) have officially flagged off the first class governance grass root campaign at Dan-Anyiam stadium in Owerri and the campaign team will tour the 27 Local Government Area of Imo state as well the 305 registered INEC wards in Imo state.  


The national chairman of SDP chief Olu Falae was represented by the national organizing secretary of the party Emeka Atuma and other executives of the party including Abia state Governorship contestant Dr. Dame Blessing Nwagba (PHD) was present during the hand over flag ceremony to Okechukwu Theodore Ezeh Imo state Gubernatorial contestant under the social democratic party including the national assembly and state house of assembly contestants.  Atuma warned the contestants not to abuse they privilege given to them and abandon the party after winning the 2019 general election and have the best strategies to defeat APC, PDP and APGA encouraged Imolites to vote wisely and not to repeat same mistake those who have not collected their pvc should go to their designated local government area of Imo state and collect them then vote for SDP .

Okey Ezeh thanked the Imo state Governor his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha for given them the Dan Anyiam stadium venue because God's hands is involved and SDP is the only party in Imo state that was allowed to use the stadium as their campaign flag off venue which the ruling party the All Progressive Congress was shut out and come may 2019 his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha will hand over power of Imo state Douglas house to Okechukwu Theodore Ezeh, as the next Governor of Imo state because under present dispensation of Owelle Rochas Okorocha Imo state economic viability index analysis in Nigeria Imo is occupying 24th position out of 36 states of federation and receives an internally generated revenue of 3.2 billion Naira and spend more than 4 billion Naira without proper dividend of democracy in Imo state and will ensure that their is proper creation of employment for the youths and not Imo civil guard Imo must be reformed.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
