Lugard Osuji filed a lawsuit at the federal high court Owerri against Mac Donald Ebere



Mac Donald Ebere the Imo state house of assembly all progressive congress (APC) candidate under Owerri municipal constituency said the Imo state house of assembly majority leader honorable Lugard Osuji who has joined the action alliance party (AA) after the house of assembly primary election defeat under apc. Filed a lawsuit at the Owerri federal high court against the conduct of Imo state house of assembly primary election in apc and honorable Lugard Osuji pleaded with the high court to restrain the candidacy of Mac Donald Ebere from contesting the 2019 general election due to election fraud and manipulation of result by the coalition members of which Mac Doanld Ebere was declared the winner. 

Mac Donald Ebere have appealed to the honorable federal high court sitting in Owerri to quash the case because he is the true winner of apc Imo state house of assembly primary election and said this during his campaign with umu-Odu women association in Owerri n'ich-ise autonomous community of Imo state at the umu-Ihugba town hall as well encouraged his supporters to be calm so that the law of the country will take it's justice course and restriction case against him is not a threat to his candidacy in the 2019 general election although i contested with honorable Lugard Osuji in the 2015 general election under people's democratic party while honorable Lugard Osuji is in apc and Lugard Osuji won the election with his supporters came to my house i congratulated him and i asked him to give Owerri municipal constituency effective representation at the Imo state house of assembly which honorable Lugard Osuji was made the majority leader Imo state house of assembly .

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
