BBOG mark five years captive of Chibok school girls


The members of bring back our schools girls group held a five years anniversary at Falomo Ikoyi Lagos State in memory of the captive
Chibok female students whose names were published under the custody of the Boko-Haram terrorist at the North East states of Nigeria. Which have trigged alot of global intervention as President Muhammadu Buhari have stipulated a hopeful thought to their families over the possibility of been released and a total of two hundred girls was abducted from Government secondary school girls Chibok on the 14th of April 2014, but the federal government have rescued one hundred and seven students and remaining one hundred and twelve students that are yet to be granted freedom.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
