Corporal Meshach Komo confirmed dead in parachuting accident - Sadique Abubakar

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) chief of air staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar have commiserate and  announced through the director of public relations of NAF, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola over the sudden demise
of late Corporal Meshach IIiya Komo who died in a parachuting accident at Kaduna State held on the 14th of April 2019 while in a recurrency training and prayed that God will give the family the fortitude to bear the repairable loss.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
