AIR FORCE UNVEILS LOCALLY MADE AIRCRAFT



The Air Force has launched a locally made aircraft as part of efforts made to wage war against Boko Haram Insurgents especially in the north east of Nigeria.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar said the initiative is part of efforts to develop local content and capacity building in complimenting the efforts of the military troops, between the Air Force and other military organization.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
