Danger looms in Isi - Mbano, after the mysterious death of five members’ family.




Five family members died after eating their dinner meal at Umu-okpara Umanu, in Obollo in Isiala Mbano Local Government area in Imo State.
The family of   Mr. Vitalis Nwosu, are   Mrs. Obianuju Nwosu (wife) and their four children, Chinonso, Chinasa, Odimnobi and Chukwuemeka all members of Nwosu family.

Master Chinonso Nwosu and Miss Chinasa Nwosu are both students of Obollo Technical secondary school, while Odimnobi Nwosu is a primary five student of community primary school Obollo.
According to the report received Mrs. Obianuju Nwosu served the family jollof rice, which she prepared for dinner, and it was served by Mrs. Obianuju Nwosu   to the entire family.

After they finished eating the meal they children started experiencing stomach ache, which made them to vomit uncontrollably up to the extent of been weak to stand on their feet,   they were rushed immediately to Ibezim hospital at Isi-ala  Mbano and  every effort made to save their lives  failed, and they  died after five hours.

Mr. and Mrs. Nwosu later came down with the same symptoms and were rushed to a hospital in Owerri, but both parents died and their bodies have been deposited at Adam Mortuary, Ugiri in Isiala Mbano Local government in Imo state.

The first son Chukwuemeka Nwosu, told newsmen that he was not at home when the incident occurred, urging the security agencies and  Imo state government to thoroughly investigate the matter  he suspect a foul play and alleged that his parents and other  siblings must have been poisoned.

The traditional ruler of Amaukwu autonomous community, H.R.H Akwagbulem Anayochukwu (Eze Ukwu 1 of Amaukwu Obollo autonomous community) confirmed the report but visited the Police and the family.
