A big python seen inside the isolation and testing centre in Owerri.

 

A big python was seen inside the premises of NCDC isolation and testing centre, that is located inside the federal medical centre in Owerri, of which the building complex is close to Nwaorie river in Owerri, surrounded by thick forest. 

 According to an eye witness account, whose was withheld confirmed that Imo state have coronavirus positive patient and the first index case patient have been discharged. 

 But for now we have a total of four positive cases and appealed to the federal government to provide testing kits and PPE's for the health workers. 

 Then the environment should be properly fumigated against dangerous animals, because the python have been seen twice and it is putting the life of health workers at risk.  

 Imo state government are doing very well, but more needs to be done to achieve the target test been carried out in a day.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
