A diver drowned at Onuukwu Azara-Egbelu river in Emekuku

At exactly 8.00 am this Sunday morning, a man drowned at Onuukwu Azara-Egbelu river.  

From the report received by the Drizzlersnews from an eye witness account at the scene of the incident, he said the man is from the northern part of Nigeria and works as a diver at Onuukwu river sand dump, where plastering white sand and other types are excavated for sales. 

He was paid to bring out a sank dredger from the river, been used for dredging before the incident.   But he has tried three good times to pull out the dredger, which he failed and at every point of attempt the rope tied to the dredger pulled off.  

Before he went inside the river for the fourth time attempting to pull out the dredger, he told his colleagues around that he was seeing something in the Onuukwu river, appealed that somebody should help him purchase seaman aromatic schnapps, which he gave the person money to buy it for him, which he will use to appease the goddess of the Onuukwu river. 

But before the person could comeback, the diver have already went inside the river to attempt the fourth time both the dredger machine boat and the diver sank inside the river and have not been seen for the past 14 hours. 
  
The elders of Azara-Egbelu community have performed rituals at the river bank, according to the eye witness, a black big ram was killed and the blood was sprinkled at the river bank as the meat was thrown inside the river. 

But from the information gathered so how far, from his fellow divers, the elders told them that he will survive, but the diver is been held by a big spiritual python and a vulture under the dept of the river and it is very cold there. 

From the further inquiry made by the Drizzlersnews, he has been warned by the gods about his past actions in the river, according to his fellow divers, he is always eating things used for sacrifice to the gods of Onuukwu river and he is never straight forward while carrying out his duties and they elders of Azara-Egbelu, who made the consultations about his where about said the diver is very evil and wicked because he will never tell you his experience or any information passed to him to tell his fellow divers rather it will be hidden from others.  

This same diver have entered inside the Onuukwu river in the past, to bring out sank dredger and it was discovered that when he came out his ears were bleeding and never told his fellow divers at Onuukwu river why such happened to him. 

But further inquiry made by the Drizzlersnews, about the drowned diver at Onuukwu river, the incident happened at the boundary of two confluence rivers of Onumurukwa river and Okitankwo river, but is called Ishiagba in Igbo language  and dangerous sea animals and the gods of the river are there and from the ancient history Onumurukwa river and Okitankwo river does not align with each other in terms of flowing up to date. 

His fellow divers are appealing to Onumurukwa river and Onuukwu river gods and godess to forgive their fellow drowned diver, so that his body could be seen and it is the only source of their livelihood for their family.
