blood flow at Ubowalla over brutal cult clash

On Thursday 28th of May, 2020, a very bloody cult clash took place at umueze Ubowalla Emekuku, Owerri North local government area in Imo state, at exactly 10.00 pm.

 According to an eyewitness report whose name was withheld, said he was not actually sure, which fraternity is responsible for the fight, but the came from different communities in Emekuku and other places, which he was not be able to mention at the time Drizzlersnews granted him an interview over the situation. 

 But he revealed that the cult boys were having their meeting at Ubowalla primary school on the 27th of May and what caused their misunderstanding, he was not be able to say as their confusion drew the attention of people in the community and could not settle amicably .    

 The following day boys were seen fighting each other with dangerous weapons, as the vigilantes in that area tried to stop them, but the kept on fighting as blood were seen flowing from their body, which made the vigilante to invite the police and one person was arrested as investigation is been carried out to know the cause of the fight.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
