COVID-19 patients absconded in Taraba and Kebbi state



Chairman of the state COVID-19 technical committee and state Commissioner for Health, Dr Innocent Vakkai during the press briefing said a positive patient of COVID-19 in Taraba state have escaped from the isolation centre. 
He gave the name of the patient who fled from isolation centre as Talatu Idris.  But  informed the general public to be vigilant because search of the patient is in full force and his close contact tracing have commenced. 

 Taraba state currently have 8 positive cases of coronavirus and the state government made wearing of face masks compulsory.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
