Ugochukwu Abakporo's victory lacks merit - Herny Obinna Chima

Honorable Herny Obinna Chima have written a petition  against the victory of newly elected chairman of Emekuku ancient town union youth Ugochukwu Abakporo. 

 According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, of which the letter was sent to Azara-Ubo youth organization Emekuku. 

 Obinna stated in the letter that the victory of Ugochukwu Abakporo, who is the chairman elect Emekuku ancient town union youth president lack merit to be upheld. 

1. The governing council of Ubowalla community were not present to Observe the election.

 2. The newly elected chairman of Emekuku ancient town youth Ugochukwu Abakporo is a cult member. 

 3. Election Observers and the electoral chairman were bribed. 

 According to his letter, he appealed to the Azara-Ubo youth organization chairman Mr.Nnaemeka Njoku to investigate the panel and re-conduct a fresh election or declare him the winner. 

 Hon.Obinna Chima got a very low number of votes cast. 

 He was the house of assembly candidate for advance democratic party (ADP) in the 2019 general election in Owerri-North were he lost to the people's democratic party candidate Hon.Philip Ejiogu. 

 He is the son of a well known philanthropist, a business consultant and an academic genius, who brought electricity in Ubowalla late (Dr) Chima.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
