Drowned diver at Onuukwu river in Emekuku, is expected to rise

Since yesterday the body of the drowned diver at Onuukwu river in Azara-Egbelu community Owerri north local government in Imo state, is yet to be found, despite the intensive search and rituals done so how far.

But according to one of the diver's at the river, watching when his body will rise, said after the ritual incantations was done by elders at the river bank, they were told that he is alive, but he is been held by a big spiritual python and vulture deities of Onumurukwa river and Okitankwo river, because the diver destroyed the confluence boundary of the two rivers known as Ishiagba.   So his body is expected to rise in five days time, as speculated.

But his fellow divers who were working with him at the Onuukwu sand dump is still appealing to the deity to forgive him and they are anticipating that he will be released alive.

From the facts gotten from them about divers, who work at dredging sites else where, some of them are been held for months by deities of the rivers and will be released alive after the necessary incantations are made.    And from the report received from his colleagues he is the best diver at Onuukwu river as been described.

Drizzlersnews visited the scene of Ishiagba confluence geographical boundary of Onumurukwa and Okitankwo river, we observed that, at same point, where the incident happened, looking at the surface of the Okitankwo river, it was totally dirty and looked like it was filled up with mud and Onumurukwa river was very clean on the surface.

I told the diver been interviewed that possibly, his colleague, must have been have been held by mud and the dredger must have as well trapped his body in the river, because bubbles were coming out from the exact point, where the dredger sank.   But he said no and still stood firm that it is a spiritual thing because they have done the job over the years and such incident is not new to them, he went further and informed the crew that recently a man drowned and died at this same river two weeks ago and it is not new to them.

No speed boat was used to search for his body and the matter is yet to be reported to the police the owners of the dredger was still there.

The diver cautioned people that alot of rivers in Emekuku are very dangerous and alot of rituals activities are done in them, so if you are not an indigene of the communities in Emekuku, it is better you stay away from them to avoid drowning in the river, because a young boy was also attacked by the deity of Onumurukwa river, while taking pictures with his phone, after doing a bush clearing for somebody at Abarachara located at umuocham community and only got to know, when he was opening his phone to see pictures, he took and saw a stack naked picture of a woman that blocked his phone screen as he tried to delete, it was impossible before he was then rushed to a church and his phone was totally condemned.
