Azara-Ubo community, inaugurates COVID-19 committee





Azara-Ubo Emekuku autonomous community in Owerri north local government area in Imo state, have inaugurated the COVID-19 committee members, that will help to create awareness in the following communities, Azara-Egbelu, Azara-Owalla, Ubo-Egbelu and Ubowalla in our local Owerri dialect, which will help to pass across the government guide lines to the people, in other to avert the spread of coronavirus in the community. 

It was observed by two great leaders in Owerri-north Lady Ann Dozie and Dr.Anthony Ihedoro with the Councillors  as well other apex leaders, used the opportunity to thank the Imo state governor distinguished senator Hope Uzodimma for his effort to ensure that the COVID-19 pandemic never trivia in Imo state and congratulatd the governor for his wonderful 100 days in office because Imo is now better. 

But task the committee members to apply the government guide lines by following these rules :         

1. Avoid crowded places 

2. Maintain at least 1-metre social distance, between you and other persons around you, to avoid droplets of fluids coming out from your neighbors mouth or nose, while coughing or sneezing. 

3. If you must sneeze or cough, use tissue paper and dispose immediately, or  use your inner elbow covering your nose before sneezing and your mouth must be properly covered with your hands before coughing.   

4. Avoid touching your hands on your face, eyes and nose, it might contain the virus. 

5. Wash your hands regularly under a running water for at least 20 seconds and apply an alcohol based sanitizer on your hands. 

6. If you must go out, put on your face mask. 


7.  Stay at home
