APGA Sensitization Programme On PVC Registration

Imo State executives of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) with their

Governorship aspirants, toured around the 27 Local Government Area's that make up Imo state, which was approved by the Independent Electoral Commission to educate and encourage the electorate especially the youths that are up to the acceptable voting age of 18 years, on the recent new dev innovational technological voter's card reader which will be used in the 2019 general election led by Imo state APGA chairman Barrister.Peter Ezeobi which ended at Mount Carmel catholic church Emekuku in Owerri North Local Government Area in Imo state.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
