Chief. Jerry Chukwueke decamp from APC to APGA

Former Imo Governorship aspirant under 

the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the committee chairman Buhari /Osinbajo campaign organization under the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imo state, an entrepreneur as well as a strong political leader in Owerri North Local Government Area in Imo state. 

Chief Jerry Chukwueke was seen yesterday during the PVC sensitization programme organized by APGA for Emekuku ward 2 at Onum community primary school in Azara-Egbelu Owerri North Local Government Area in Imo state. 

He (Jerry) sang the APGA athem putting his hand on the chest and shouted the APGA slogan "Nke haa bu nke anyi oooo".

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
