Rochas boost Lazarus Muoka university building project in Imo state







The founder of Lord chosen church pastor Lazarus Muoka with some elders in the church, paid a courtesy visit to Imo state Governor his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha at the Government house in Owerri. 

Muoka in his speech eulogize Owelle as a great leader and a commander of free education offering free education to students in Imo state and outside the state with numerous projects, which have transformed the economic status of Imo state in Nigeria and the entire world map at large then updated the Governor of his plans to establish a university building project in Imo state.

Owelle Rochas Okorocha in his response said Imo state is the number hub of education in Nigeria, since 2012 
up till date Imo have the highest number of jamb applicants between 92,890 applicants but only few get admission into universities, colleges of education and polytechnics concluded by saying that not less than 20 universities are required in Imo state because certain policies in jamb limit admission in the catchment areas so allocated a land and gave them ten million naira for immediate commencement of the building project.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
