Rochas Okorocha rename demolished Eke-Ukwu Owerri market to Somto shopping mall






The demolished Eke-Ukwu Owerri market in Douglas ⇓ 


road Imo state, have been renamed to Somto shopping mall, which have over 100 outlets with car parks and it is in honor and memory of master Somtochukwu Ibeanusi the 10years old little boy who was shot to death by the military while trying to disperse protesters who were against the relocation of the market as so many sustained injuries and there were court orders restraining the Government from demolishing the market.

Although the indigence of Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community have accused the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha of selling the place to Nigerian billionaire business mogul Aliko Dangote to build his cement warehouse and refinery.  


But it was denied by the Imo state Governor his Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha at the Hero's square arena who said "nobody died and the incident occurred 5 kilometers away from the market square, but promise to rename any project been lay there in the name of the little boy".
