Catholic's mark 2018 laity week








The Catholic community marked it's 2018 laity week with the theme DEEPENING THE PRIESTLY KINGLY PROPHETIC ROLES. 

Which started on the 12th of March 2018 and will end on the18th of March 2018.

 Mr.John Nwanuoru chairman catholic laity council of Nigeria said "it is an opportunity to coherence the relationship between the priest and the laity as well having a deeper understanding on the catholic doctrines through the bible teachings of Jesus Christ with reference quotations from the Vatican canal law as a guiding principle within the church and the community.

Nkotonko music drama actors Omalicha and Akuebe in movie audition

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
