Hon.Dan Ikpeazu recourse for Igbo's Justice in Nigeria









The former Owerri North house of assembly member honourable Daniel Ikpeazu have called on his excellency president Muhammadu Buhari to find a lasting solution to the Boko-haram and Fulani herdsmen insurgency in Nigeria. 

 The unity of our nation is based on the population of defenseless young generation as well parents who are dying everyday in there farmlands in Benue, Yobe, Plateau, state where there are high level of kidnapping of female students. Many have flee from their ancestral homes to IDP camps when lives and properties of citizens are not protected. 

Hon.Dan Ikpeazu asked president Muhammadu Buhari to declare Boko-Haram and Fulani herdsmen a terrorist group as he tagged the leader of indigenous people of Biafra Mr.Nnamdi Kanu and other members when they were requesting for their freedom through referendum because youths un-restiveness and high unemployment rate is a sign of bad leadership advised Buhari to assent to the Nigerian Peace Corps bill and provide employment opportunities then revisit the political cabinets of appointments given to the Igbo  and other infrastructural social amenities in the East where he got a massive support of his victory against Ebele Jonathan.

 Called on youths to ensure that the register for their permanent voters card and vote for the right leaders of their choice come 2019.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
