Nkem Emenyeonu flaws two chairmanship contestants in the umu-Okorie youth election

umu-Okorie youth organization have elected Nkem Emenyonu as the new chairman of the organization, after defeating his two rivals with fifty two votes in the general election which was conducted on Sunday 21st, of June 2019 at Obi umu-Onukwagha in Amawom, Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community Owerri municipal local government area in Imo state. 


Barrister Okechukwu Emenyeonu who is the electoral committee chairman said a total of twelve contestants  passed through the screening process and three contestants were vying for the chairmanship seat and two are for the post of the treasury.  

But for the post of the vice chairman, secretary, assistant secretary,financial secretary, chair-lady, director of socials, and PRO were unopposed because it does not require the twenty five percent of the total votes cast and automatically they have assumed the executive positions.   

The committee chairman announced that a total of one hundred and thirty seven are registered members of umu-Okorie youth organization which was verified by the electoral observers and contestants agents.  For the chairmanship seat result as stated 


Emenyeonu Nkem -52 votes

Amanze Njoku- 28 votes

Osuji Peter Ogueri - 23 votes  

           Treasury 

Onyekwe Emmanuel Emeka- 65 votes 

Desmond Anukam                 -28 votes
