Federal ministry of health charge #1,000 for distribution of river blindness drugs in Ubowalla

The federal ministry of health representatives in Owerri north local government area in Imo state, have de-listed Ubowalla community from been a beneficiary of the free distributed river blindness drugs for a long time, because they demanded for the payment of one thousand naira per each patient who will collect the drugs.  Despite all the logistics provided by the Nigerian government and other international sponsors.

Are we no longer Nigerians let president Muhammadu Buhari and Imo state governor Emeka Ihedioha intervene now soon we will get blind.

Justice delayed is justice denied 93% of the beneficiaries of the river blindness drugs are pensioners, elderly men and women, who have no means of earning a living.
