Nollywood actor Egbeigwe Apama show his football skills at Owerri city school

Nollywood comic actor Osinachi Dike known as Egbeigwe Apama have thanked super falcons striker Desire Oparanozie for inspiring students through sports and education programme held at Owerri city school organized through her foundation with the theme: Encouraging the young Nigerian dreamers. 

Egbeigwe Apama said " Education is power and key to success in any career of specialization especially the girl child education'. He encouraged students to read their books then obey school rules and regulations as well shun cultism, kidnapping,arm robbery, examination malpractice and illicit drug addiction because it will ruin their careers as future leaders. 

    
 He called the Nigerian government to take welfare of teachers serious by given them good pay packages which can be compared with their colleagues aboard because It is only in Nigeria the rewards of teachers are in heaven and on earth the beg for their salaries especially in the south east states. 


Appealed that Nigeria is our country let us make it a better place by contributing our quota like the En Avant de Guingamp player Desire Oparanozie  .

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
