Cult boys and Sars are in gun battle at Okwu Uratta


It was total unrest last night for students of Imo state university who are living at Okwu Uratta hostels in Owerri North local government in Imo state, as the special
anti robbery police squad engaged cult boys in a gun battle for 45mins.

 Although three suspected cult boys have been arrested.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
