Ohams Chinedu human right commission staff asked FG to legalize weed

A human right commission staff Ohams Chinedu on the 26th of June 2019 during the world international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking of drugs which was held at Dan Anyiam stadium in Owerri, organized by youths awake for better society with lectures and free HIV testing & counseling.  

Ohams Chinedu charged the federal government of Nigeria to legalize recreational Indian hemp because it have medicinal values and also increase our economic foreign exchange rather than prosecute the drug peddlers. 

Ohams informed the national drug law enforcement agency that the consumers of hard drugs is more in Orlu and there was a time when the burnt down the office of NDLEA there. 

He then encouraged the director of education for youths awake for better society Onyema Ndukwe to organize programs for students especially in the rural areas many do not know when the got into drugs and concluded by saying most drug peddlers do not consumer it but to improve their economic status.
