Dr.Mark-Anthony Nze organize football tournament in Ubowalla

 


It is another glamorous football season, for Ubowalla soccer fans to cheer up their groups labelled from A-E, as 



Dr.Mark-Anthony Nze unity cup commenced on Saturday 10TH of October 2021, at Ubowalla primary school field.

From the various matches played so far group E, are on top of league table and a total of three matches have played.

Here is the matches played and the table 

Group C VS B      0-0

Group D VS E        1-2 

Group D VS A       1-1 

So far group E,have three points, group D two points, group C and B one point respectively, but rest are yet to play their second matches. 

The donor of the cup Dr.Mark-Anthony Nze hails from umuochm in Emekuku, in Owerri -north local government area, but have a residential building at Ubowalla.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
