A female NYSC corps member kidnapped

 

It has been confirmed, that bandits kidnapped a prospective female National Youths Service Corps member, Iorliam Jennifer Awashima, who is a graduate of Benue state university in the department of English and she was posted to Kebbi state. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, she was going to Kebbi state orientation camp, but their vehicle, was attacked and she was abducted with other passengers, by armed bandits, at Zamfara state axis road.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
